I have over 30 years experience as a chartered physiotherapist, working in the NHS and later into private practice. My years of qualification has given me a wide range of experience treating a great variety of conditions, always aiming to help people stay as pain free and mobile as possible to help them enjoy life.
After qualifying from The Royal London Hospital School of Physiotherapy I gained experience in the NHS specialising in treating Out-patients particularly orthopaedic conditions, post-surgery repairs and joint replacements, back & neck pains, rehabilitating patients back to fitness and function. I then went on to run and expand The Royal London Hospital Sports Injury Clinic helping to develop and teach on a Sports Diploma qualification for Doctors and Physiotherapists.
Having a keen interest and participation in sport I have worked and travelled with a number of different sports teams – football, athletics, hockey and water polo and also been Team Physiotherapist at Major Games.
I have been involved in working with junior international golf squads, liaising with PGA professionals, assessing and developing golf specific exercise programmes to enhance playing and prevent injuries.
I have always enjoyed playing sports, particularly hockey, playing for many years in a club team. I have now changed to golf and look to improve my game as much as possible!
I also enjoy skiing and go as often as possible – and have managed to stay in one piece!!
